Our Approach

Compliance with the FCA and/or data protection regulations is often seen as a business prevention tool. At DRB Compliance Limited, we believe that with the right approach, integrating compliance into everything you do will help your business grow.

Each business is different and there isn’t a ‘one size fits all’ solution. We work closely with each of our clients to ensure the service we provide is perfectly tailored to their individual needs.

DRB Compliance Limited was formed to help you embrace, implement and ultimately benefit from compliance. We can’t completely free you from the red tape that you encounter when running your business, but we can lessen the strangle hold it has, allowing you to focus more on growing your business, giving you peace of mind that your systems and procedures are compliant.

Rhian Burke

ACII Chartered Insurance Practitioner,
GDPR-P, C-DPO, CIPP/E

Rhian has more than three decades experience working in insurance brokers, insurers and wholesale brokers before making the move to compliance. Having started in the family brokerage at the age of 12, insurance is in her blood!

Having taken a six year break from insurance in the late 1990s, Rhian also has hands-on experience in the hospitality industry and the hotel and leisure sector, gained during her time in the family Procurement Services and Hamper businesses.

In 2014 Rhian achieved her ACII and Chartered Insurance Practitioner status. In addition, following the implementation of GDPR, she achieved the GASQ accredited GDPR-Practitioner qualifications. In 2021, Rhian also became Certified Data Protection Officer and a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals, having attained the CIPP/(Europe) qualification.

In her free time, Rhian enjoys playing the piano, visiting historic houses and stately homes, baking and truffle making with her daughters and trying to burn off some of the calories from that on the golf course (FORE)!

“I understand the relationship you have with your clients and how compliance and regulations impact on this relationship, and your business as a whole. I appreciate the challenges you face trying to manage the increasing regulatory burden while trying to achieve growth.”
